Choose an audio file to see its waveform. Files are decoded locally; supported input formats depend on your browser.
Trim audio
Select precise start and end times, preview your selection and download a WAV clip. Audio stays on your device.
Change volume
Adjust audio gain in decibels, check its sample peak and see whether the change clips any samples.
Fade in & out
Set linear fade-in and fade-out durations, preview the result and download a WAV file.
Will my audio be uploaded?
No. The app reads, decodes and edits the file in this browser. Normal page requests still go to the hosting provider.
Can I export MP3?
This version exports uncompressed 16-bit PCM WAV at 48 kHz. It does not encode MP3, AAC or other compressed output formats.
Which input files work?
WAV, MP3, M4A, Ogg and other files may decode if your browser supports their codecs. A filename extension alone does not guarantee support.
Why does WAV use more storage?
WAV contains uncompressed audio samples. File size depends on duration, sample rate and channel count, rather than the source file’s compressed size.
Will a volume increase improve the recording?
Gain scales existing samples. It does not remove noise or restore missing detail. If the increased signal exceeds the sample range, the tool clamps it and reports clipped samples.
